I work as a professional 1st camera assistant (focus puller) for the film industry in Toronto. I am a member of
IATSE Local 667. I have worked on commercials, music videos, documentaries, short films, series, MOW's and feature films.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Having a photography background lends itself seamlessly to the duties and responsibilities of a camera assistant.
I must understand everything photographic and keep myself abreast of new technologies, tools, and techniqiues regarding the
use or application of motion picture cameras, lenses, film stocks, and special supports (cranes, dollies, Steadicam, car mounts).
I have a thorough knowledge of the major 35mm and 16mm motion picture camera systems. These include:
Arriflex, Panavision, Moviecam, and Aaton. I have also used various models of Bolex, Eymo, CP-16 and super 8mm cameras
like Canon.
Experienced in 35mm anamorphic cinematography. I have used Panavision's Primo anamorphic lenses, Hawk anamorphics
and Clairmont anamorphic lenses.
I have worked with the Sony F900 HD camera (on commercials, documentaries, and a feature film) including the
use of other video formats such as Varicam HD, mini DV, DV Cam, and Betacam SP.
