Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon sees hundreds of calved icebergs constantly drifting towards the Atlantic. Ranging in sizes big and small, you can readily see them floating by like a slow turtle. Instead of showing a wider shot of the surrounding lagoon I decided to get intimate and use a portrait lens to capture this section of a relatively large iceberg. I like the simplicty of the three layered composition and the striking blue colour. If you pay close attention you can hear the shifting, cracking ice as it moves and melts in the lagoon.
