If you put yourself outside long enough with a camera in hand luck will inevitably find you. I hiked to Halfway Rock Point and saw the beautiful cold and clear waters of Georgian Bay lapping up against the island rock and cliff face. Without a sense of scale this image wouldn't have been nearly as interesting. The luck came when a group of snorkellers and swimmers came into my frame and clambered up and around the rock. This is the only image where all the humans harmoniously balanced each other, complimenting the composition and telling the story of place much better than I could without them.
