The rising sun kisses the Three Sisters mountain range as seen from Spring Creek near Canmore, Alberta. Mornings are the best for photography. If you can motivate yourself to get up early you'll often have the place all to yourself. When the light cooperates you get clean, fresh views, untainted by the build up of pollution and haze in the atmosphere throughout the day. Wind is generally calmer too, technically making for sharp images since longer exposures are necessary for landscape photography. Other than the sounds of the odd songbird, the stillness can sometimes be so quiet that you can hear your own heart beating in your chest. Makes you feel alive!
